MIXX Awards Croatia, the Croatian competition that recognizes the best digital campaigns as well as tools and platforms in the field of marketing communications, has opened entries for its new, sixteenth season. The new edition brings numerous updates for participants: this year the awards will be presented in a record 20 categories, they will be judged by a record number of jury members, and the organizers have prepared several additional novelties, including examples of good submissions, the MIXX Fit Check, a questionnaire for submission guidance, and a meet-up for entrants in January.
The importance of the project is further confirmed by the fact that next season’s competition strengthens its connection with the global digital ecosystem and the highest industry standards: MIXX Awards Croatia has entered a partnership with Admixer Media, the official sales representative for Google Ads in Croatia.
“We are proud to support the MIXX Awards 2026 as the exclusive sponsor. For Admixer Media, the official sales representative (ASR) for Google Ads in Croatia, this partnership represents a natural continuation of our mission to advance best practices in digital marketing and contribute to the development of the local market. I look forward to celebrating the remarkable achievements of the marketing community together with our partners, clients and industry colleagues,” said Ivana Prakiš, Product Director, Admixer Media Croatia, who will join the competition jury on this occasion.
“MIXX is entering the new season with new categories and new energy which, I am convinced, will motivate even those who so far viewed the submission process with skepticism. Therefore, I expect a larger number of higher-quality entries, as well as overall super positive energy that is carefully being built around the entire MIXX competition. I can freely say that this is one of the most important awards in general, and that this year both the jury and the MIXX Committee will give their absolute best to raise MIXX one more level up. From personal experience, I can confirm that winning MIXX awards brings new, fresh interest in you and your agency; the market recognizes MIXX and validates its importance in the real world, beyond confetti and stage lights. I advise everyone to start preparing on time (look who’s talking!), to focus on smart category selection, a super simple presentation of results and key aspects of the campaign, but also to study the new categories well because I believe that with them we have covered some aspects of our industry that have so far been somewhat overlooked. And reach out to us; our goal is to help you through the process,” said Nebojša Grbačić (Cvoke), this year’s jury president and member of the Organizing Committee.
UPDATES IN THE CATEGORIES: SOCIAL MEDIA, EXPORT AND PUBLISHERS
In a digital environment where brands are increasingly communicating through social media, MIXX is this year specifically recognizing that strength with two new categories. The category Best Social Campaign in Group I. Campaigns awards individual campaigns in which social media and/or instant messaging services were the primary channels of execution, while Best Social Media in Group II. Tools/Platforms evaluates excellence in always-on content, continuous, consistent and relevant brand communication with its community.
Best Export Campaign will reward digital or integrated campaigns created in Croatia and implemented in at least one foreign market, while Best Export Platform recognizes digital platforms and products, such as websites, applications or e-commerce solutions – developed in Croatia and launched abroad. In both categories, only results achieved in international markets are taken into account.
The former category Best Publisher Project, which recognized projects conceived and executed by publishers either for their own needs or for clients, is now more precisely developed into two separate categories: Best Publisher Campaign awards campaigns conceived and executed by publishers or media on their own platforms, from native ads and branded projects to socially responsible initiatives with measurable results, while Best Publisher Content highlights content such as video series, podcasts, thematic articles or interactive projects that successfully engage and retain audiences.
BEST IN SHOW AS THE COMPETITION’S HIGHEST HONOR
Jury members, composed of domestic experts, will once again evaluate the combination of strategy, execution, creativity and achieved results, ensuring that submitted projects bring real value to brands and users. Special emphasis is placed on the Best in Show award, which represents the highest recognition within MIXX Awards Croatia and is awarded to the top-ranking work with the highest average score across all categories of comprehensive campaigns in Group I. Campaigns.
NEW RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR ENTRANTS
If you have an excellent digital project but are unsure whether it fits MIXX or which category it belongs to, you can complete the MIXX Fit Check, a short questionnaire through which members of the Organizing Committee will provide recommendations and advice on a potential submission. For most categories, examples of winning projects are now available, serving as inspiration and a reference point when preparing a submission; these can be found in the Rulebook available on the official Days of Communication website, as well as in the winners’ gallery. For all technical questions or uncertainties regarding the interpretation of the Rulebook, entrants may contact [email protected].
SUBMISSIONS AND KEY DEADLINES
In the Campaign group of categories, only agencies may submit entries, while categories in the Tools/Platforms and Export groups are open to agencies, advertisers, startups and other related companies, in accordance with the Rulebook conditions. The Publisher group remains reserved for publishers, who in the new categories have the opportunity to even more clearly highlight the innovation and strength of their content and advertising projects.
The qualification period includes projects implemented between 17 February 2025 and 13 February 2026. The regular submission deadline runs until 13 January 2026 at 23:59, while submissions can be made no later than 13 February 2026 at 23:59, which marks the end of the late submission period. MIXX rewards your hard work with the 3 + 1 offer – entrants who submit three entries within the above deadlines may submit one additional entry free of charge!
All information about the competition, the entry form and the Rulebook can be found on the official Days of Communication website: www.danikomunikacija.com/awards/mixx.
