Two young Slovenian creatives have secured their spot at the global Young Lions competition in the digital category after winning the national Mladi kreativci 2026 competition. In an intense 24-hour challenge, which once again confirmed the strength and breadth of the Slovenian creative scene, the winners were Amber Škrabec and Gašper Potočnik from Agency 101 with the idea “Direkt pred faksom”.
The competition was carried out in collaboration with the general partner Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d. and the Slovenian Advertising Chamber (SOZ), and the winning team secured participation at the Cannes Lions festival, where they will represent Slovenia within the Young Lions Competition digital category. In addition, both will receive €500 in pocket money.
Among ten finalist teams, second place went to Laura Pintarič and Mitja Potočnik from Aritmija with the project “The Noodle Cup”, while third place was awarded to Teja Fajdiga from DROM agency and Matic Kosem from Herman i partnerji with the idea “Direkt do prvega avta”. All finalists were awarded passes for this year’s Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF), while the top three teams will also receive participation at the 2027 edition of the festival.
The entries were evaluated by a jury composed of relevant industry experts, including Drago Mlakar from Luna \TBWA as jury president, Ana Cergolj Kebler from Zavarovalnica Triglav, Robert Bohinec from AV studio, Tina Križaj from Future DDB, Tina Mentol, founder of the brands Slavsocks and Slocks, as well as Klemen Šefer from Pro Plus.
The three best teams will also present their ideas at this year’s edition of SOF, where they will open the second festival day and further bring them closer to the regional creative community.
