The three most important professional associations operating under the umbrella of the Slovenian Advertising Chamber (SOZ), the Slovenian Media Association (SZM), the Slovenian Association of Advertising Agencies (SZOA), and the Slovenian Advertisers’ Association (SZO), have elected new leadership and management boards for the mandate beginning on January 1, 2026.
SZM, the association representing Slovenian media companies, including television networks, radio stations, digital platforms, and publishers, has elected new leadership for a two-year term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027. According to the official announcement by SOZ, the role of president will be taken over by Gregor Memedović, Director of the Next Media group, while the position of vice president will be held by Jana Štokovič, Head of TV Sales at PRO PLUS.

At the same time, the four-year mandate of the members of the SZOA Management Board, the association that brings together creative, digital, and media agencies in Slovenia, is coming to an end. The assembly of members has elected a new SZOA Management Board for the term from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029. The appointed members are: Jernej Franetič, Mateja Gramc Debeljak, Nina Jakovljević, Dragana Josipović, Aljaž Podlogar, Miha Kocjančič, Valerija Prevolšek, Irena Setinšek, Toni Tomašek, Nina Zadnikar, and Vanja Kmet Žižmond.
The third association within SOZ, SZO, which represents advertisers, companies and brands that invest in advertising, has also completed the election process for its Management Board. This mandate likewise runs from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, and the newly appointed members of the SZO Management Board are: Tjaša Kolenc Filipčič, Jelena Milinković, Maja Nikolić, Jana Prešeren, Lidija Rakuša, Nina Usnik, and Dražen Vranješ Kosi.
The elections within all three associations confirm continuity and stability in the governance of Slovenia’s communication industry. We congratulate all elected representatives and wish them a successful start to their mandate in 2026.
