It’s exactly one month until the 13th edition of SoMo Borac, which will be held at the Mozaik Center in Zagreb. Applications for the award recognizing the best digital projects in the region have been extended until September 30, while the third SoMo Conference will host prominent local and regional experts who will deliver short, straight-to-the-point lectures, offering the audience concrete advice based on their own experiences and challenges.
“The reality is that no one remembers the strategy. What the audience remembers is a great story, and in my lecture I’ll show you how to reshape your marketing campaigns through storytelling in order to discover new perspectives and better content,” said Mercy Fulani. In her talk “POV: Your strategy is actually a storyline”, the marketing expert will share advice on how to make a brand more approachable, memorable, and relatable to the audience, and how to capture attention in a world that is primarily mobile-driven. Fulani specializes in social media and content marketing, and through the DigitalHer initiative, she works on empowering women in the tech sector.
Marko Rakar, one of the pioneers in internet usage in Croatia and a recognized lecturer and consultant in the fields of organization, internet, new media, politics, and statistics, will deliver a lecture titled “How to Build an AI System That Works?”. He will explain that AI as advertised and AI as it actually works are not even similar, while also showing how to make AI deliver only accurate results.
Who are the biggest and most influential companies in Croatia? Find out in the lecture “Do You Know Who You’re Really Working With?” to be delivered by Ivan Pleše, president of the Croatian Association of Digital Publishers and co-founder of AdTech Lab, which collaborates with the largest technology, media, and many other companies.
Take advantage of the opportunity to purchase a TARDY BIRD ticket, and be sure to submit your projects by September 30. You can follow all updates about this year’s edition via the SoMo Borac newsletter as well as on SoMo Borac’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
