Fear of public speaking by its intensity ranks in the same category with the fear of death. Agency Apriori BiH wondered why this is so, which resulted in a workshop entitled “Media and Public Appearances” which will be held in October in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
In public speaking we are exposed to the scrutiny of others, which means that there is a possibility that someone will see or hear some characteristics that we want to hide, such as insecurity, anxiety, tone of our voice or a lack of knowledge on the subject we speak about. We are afraid that the audience will laugh at us or boo us.
There are a number of quality techniques that help in better performance in media and public appearances, which participants will be able to practice at the workshop “Media and Public Appearances”. Lecturer Tanja Tatomirović will prepare participants for future media and public appearances through practical techniques.
Workshops are set to take place on 7 October in Hotel Sarajevo, Sarajevo, and on 8 October in Hotel Bosna, Banja Luka. Registration, program and other info about the workshops are available at www.apriori.ba.
