The campaign aims to increase awareness of women about the importance of cervical cancer prevention. The agency’s task was to design a global campaign that will educate and encourage women to regular gynaecological examinations.
Since the campaign is global, the agency had been searching for a universal, accessible symbol or metaphor. That is how the Hello Curly was created – a cute cat that became the face and the symbol of the campaign.
In The Curly Song music video playful cat Curly and her friends play the trumpets and sing about the problem of cervical cancer, while educational videos inform women about all aspects and ways of prevention.
The first video (The Curly Song) was presented Wednesday, and the public can continue to follow the campaign with educational videos either via the website of the campaign www.hellocurly.org or campaign’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/hellocurly.
