WINNERS OF THE 9TH PLAKTIVAT CONTEST ARE YOUNG AUTHORS FROM LUNA \ TBWA
With the record number of entered works, the 9th Plaktivat contest for the design of the city poster on the topic: There is no diabetes. But there is! has concluded.
There were 161 entered works! Among 101 applicants, 31 were from Slovenia and 70 from abroad, making the project considerably larger than the local frameworks.
The works came from Slovenia, Algeria, Argentina, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Finland, India, Iran, Italy, Luxembourg, China, Kosovo, Macedonia, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The committee awarded the city poster with the title “Sweet threat” by Luna \ TBWA’s team: Ciril Trček, Maruša Lekše, Zala Sajko. The copy on the poster says: “I’ll eat your legs with sweet delight!” along with the message “A sweet indulgence can turn into a dangerous hazard. Don’t risk it and get tested at www.diabetes.si”
By February 2018, we can see the winning work on TAM-TAM billboards throughout Slovenia. All registered works can be seen from today (November 15th) on Facebook.
BRONZE FOR NEW MOMENT NEW IDEAS COMPANY BEOGRAD AND THEIR PROJECT THE ONE AT EPICA AWARDS
The One Book for Peace project, which New Moment New Ideas Company Belgrade did for the Inter-religious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won the bronze award at the Epica Awards in the Consumer Direct category.
Epica Awards are the only awards for creative communications in which the jury is exclusively made of journalists and editors of media dedicated to creative communications, who once again recognized this great project and its great significance.

MOST CROATIAN BLOGGERS MONTHLY EARNS BETWEEN 3.500 AND 5.000 HRK
DIABLOG Conference presented the results of the second research on the state of the Croatian blogging scene, conducted by Dialog komunikacije agency in October this year, which included 171 active bloggers. Most respondents are women (90.6%) who live in Central Croatia, they are between 25 and 35 years old and have university degree education (42.7%).
Although the consider their blogs a hobby, compared to last year, higher number of bloggers earn from their blogs, and are most present on Facebook and Instagram, whose use is on the rise. Although they highlight video as a major trend, same as last year, most bloggers still don’t deal with video production. Most of them make between 3,500 and 5,500 HRK monthly.
Respondents said they write blogs between three and five years (36.6%) and publish two to three blog posts per month (42.1%). The most prevalent categories are beauty (31%), gastro (17%), fashion (10.5%) and travel (6.4%).
A large majority of bloggers collaborate with brands (77.8%), and co-operation involves compensation in money or products / goods / services.
CANNES LIONS ANNOUNCES MAJOR OVERHAUL FOR 2018 – PUBLICIS GROUPE ANNOUNCES RETURN IN 2019!
The Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity has heeded the calls of the industry and completely revamped the plans for the 2018 festival, shortening the duration of the festival, lowering prices and streamlining categories.
The changes come in response to pressures by the advertising industry, and especially by Publicis Groupe, who announced that they will sit out the next festival, while WPP warned that they could follow the example of Publicis, and have already reduced their attendance at festivals by half. In light of the announced changes, Publicis Groupe announced that it will return to Cannes in 2019.

KREŠIMIR MACAN APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF HUOJ’S GRAND PRIX JURY
On the eve of the opening of the competition for the best communication projects in 2017, the Croatian Public Relations Association appointed a new Grand Prix jury.
The president of the jury is Krešimir Macan, and his deputy Maja Gradišar Perotić. SPORTO CONFERENCE OPENS TOMORROW IN PORTOROŽ
Tomorrow in Portorož starts the two-day SPORTO conference, dedicated to sponsorship in sports.
Within the conference, the international jury will reward the best sports sponsorship projects of the year.
Numerous internationally renowned lecturers and guests who collaborate with or have collaborated with global brands and organizations, such as NBA, Super Bowl, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Juventus … will share their knowledge and experience with the participants.
The two-day program in Portorož promises a series of lectures and panels, and a quality insight into the background of the industry.
