Team is joined by Ivana Bogdanović as Content Marketing Specialist. Ivana was educated in marketing at the University of Belgrade, and has upgraded her knowledge and experience with a diploma of Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland. Thanks to the acquired knowledge and her innate creativity, she has pushed the boundaries of digital marketing and has achieved outstanding results in all projects in which she worked, especially in the Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, where she worked before joining Represent.
FERRERO TO MANAGE REGIONAL MEDIA BUY FROM LJUBLJANA
All activities in the field of media buying for brands owned by Ferrero (Nutella, Raffaello, Ferrero Rocher, TicTac, Kinder …) this year will be coordinated and managed from Ljubljana. Publicis FMX (part of the media group VivaKi), which falls under the umbrella of the Publicis Groupe Slovenia, in addition to the Slovenian market will now take care of Serbia, by which it takes the most important markets of the client in the region. Ferrero is the largest TV advertiser in the segment of sweets in both these countries.
NEW VISUAL IDENTITY OF BOUTIQUE HOTEL ALHAMBRA IN THE FINALS OF A PRESTIGIOUS COMPETITION
Lošinj Hotels & Villas, a hotel brand of the Jadranka Group from Lošinj, entered the finals of the prestigious competition for the design of new brands – Best Brand Awards. Taking part in the finals of this competition is the new visual identity of the exclusive Boutique Hotel Alhambra, located in the bay Čikat, first Lošinj bay with 5 star offer and services. People responsible for the new visual identity of the hotel Alhambra and villa Auguste are Luka Kuharić, Bojan Matoš and Pavao Kuharić from design and advertising agency Kuharić Matoš.
Visual identity of Boutique Hotel Alhambra is inspired by the secession roots of the facility, interpreted in a modern way. It brings the guest closer to the spirit of the time of its origin and reflects the sophistication and luxury of the hotel. Its very sign symbolizes the architectural integration of two valuable objects – the Alhambra and Villa Auguste, preserved in their original form, with modern updates which create a brand new boutique hotel.
THREE DESIGN EXHIBITIONS SET TO OPEN AT SPLIT GALLERY MKC TONIGHT
Tonight at 20:00 hours, three mini-exhibitions will open at the Gallery MKC in Split. All three are produced by the Croatian Design Society. The first provides a selection of award-winning works from the last biennial exhibition of Croatian design 1314, the second one is a narrowed documentary version of the exhibition dedicated to the winner of the HDD Lifetime Achievement Award Bogdan Budimirov, and the third is a thematic retrospective study Bilić_Mueller, which was recently held in the exhibition space of the parent Society, HDD gallery.
Hosting of these three exhibitions in Split was organized by the Croatian Design Society in collaboration with the Multimedia Cultural Centre, Department of Visual Communication Design of the Art Academy in Split and Platforma 9,81.

McDonald’s recently introduced self-service kiosks in its American restaurants that represent a real small revolution in one of the most popular fast food chains. The team of the Business Insider tried out this technological innovation, which allows each visitor to make their own burger and a menu of their choice, which has not been the case before.
Customers this can create a Big Mac without the cucumbers, or a popular McChicken with a special sauce instead of mayonnaise, as well as all other combinations.
‘STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS’ RAKES IN $25 FOR EVERY $1 IN AD SPEND
According to Kantar Media, the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens has so far earned $25.40 for every dollar spent in advertising last year in the United States. In 2015 Disney spent about $29 million on advertising of this film, which ranked it 38 on the list of film advertising budgets in the year. Kantar commented that the relatively low spending on advertising of this film was due to the already gathered attention in the form of media coverage and social media mentions, but also due to many other brands that have used the Star Wars in their own promotional campaigns.
AFTER 25 YEARS WITH TBWA, ENERGIZER’S BUNNY MOVES TO CAMP + KING
After 25 years of partnership with the agency TBWA\Chiat\Day, battery maker Energizer and their famous bunny changed the agency and will continue their work with Camp + King. This agency, based in San Francisco, which is affiliated with the French holding company Havas, was selected after a review initiated in the fall of last year. This customer spends $45 million on the domestic US market, according to Kantar Media.
COCA-COLA SHUFFLES ITS STRATEGY TO PROMOTE SALES OF LOW SUGAR PRODUCTS
Coca-Cola has refreshed its global advertising strategy to promote all their products, and at the same time strengthen the sales of low sugar drinks. The company dropped the slogan ‘Open Happiness‘ and shifted to a new slogan, ‘Taste the Feeling’ to keep things aligned with the ‘One Brand‘ strategy which was introduced last year in order to unite a greater number of products such as Coke Life and Coke Zero.
Head of marketing at Coca-Cola, Marcos de Quinto, said the strategy aims to eliminate confusion within the portfolio of the brand, which partly resulted from their previous attempts to adapt to the trend of healthier lifestyle.
NISSAN PAYS HOMAGE TO RIVALS IN NEW AD FOR TITAN XD
The car manufacturer Nissan has released a new ad for its Titan XD, titled “Shoulders of Giants”, in which they paid tribute to the competitors which came before them. In the ad, which is entirely focused on the role models (or parents), Nissan thus shows the trucks of other manufacturers, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, and thanks them in the end of the ad. “We see the way forward,” Nissan says at the end of this frank ad, and presents its model Titan XD as a proud heir of automotive tradition. The ad which was done by agency TBWA\Chiat\Day can be seen below.
