SIGNING OF THE AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION BETWEEN BIH AND CROATIAN PR STUDENTS
Within the framework of the activities of the 2nd International Scientific and Professional Conference PR Days Mostariensis 2017, the Association of PR Students of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Mostar – PRUMO, and the Student Union of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) will sign a cooperation agreement today. The agreement will be signed by presidents of these youth sections, Martina Raguž and Ivan Biošić, on Monday, 20 November 2017, at 11.00hrs at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Mostar.
FAMOUS EIKE KÖNIG (HORT) AT THE FIRST TWO-DAY HOWTOWOW ACADEMY
One of the world’s top designers, sought after by brands of the likes of Nike and Microsoft, is coming to HOWtoWOW Academy in Zagreb. Eike König, founder of the renowned design firm HORT is a world-famous designer and artist known for his experimental enthusiasm and free visual expression. On November 24-25, at the HOWtoWOW Academy, he will host the first ever two-day workshop where the focus will be on the ugly.
What does ugly actually mean? During the two interactive days, participants will discuss with Eike conceptual ideas that examine the concept of ugly and formal aesthetics of the past. They will talk about “ugly”, they will scrutinize it, and all through practical work and design of corporate identity.

WARC MEDIA AWARDS 2017 – EFFECTIVE CHANNEL INTEGRATION SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED
The Effective Channel Integration shortlist is released for WARC’s Media Awards, an international competition that rewards pioneering communications planning which has made a positive impact on business results for brands around the world.
A total of 19 campaigns have been shortlisted in the Effective Channel Integration category which looks for how sophisticated communications architecture helped boost campaign effectiveness.

FACEBOOK TO TAKE ON OLX AND QUIKR WITH ITS OWN MARKETPLACE IN INDIA
Facebook is set to take on Indian online marketplace Olx and Quikr as it tests its own Marketplace to connect local buyers and sellers in India.
As reported by Economic Times, Marketplace won’t charge any fees from buyers or sellers and will aim to make it easy for users to trade mostly secondhand goods, with the ability to post items for sale via smartphone or computer. In India, users mainly buy and sell jewelry and accessories, household goods, electronics and apparel.
Facebook hasn’t decided on any categories yet as it believes the categories will automatically start forming once the Marketplace goes live. Users will be able to choose their product according to the radius they opt for.
FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, BING AND TWITTER JOIN THE TRUST PROJECT TO HELP USERS COMBAT FAKE NEWS
Facebook, Google, Bing and Twitter have all agreed to be part of a non-partisan effort called The Trust project which is aimed at enlightening users about the difference between reliable journalism and fake news.
As part of the agreement, “Trust Indicators” are going live on Facebook, offering easy-to-access, transparent information about a news organisation’s ethics and practices.
The Trust Project said that on Facebook, an icon will appear next to articles in the News Feed. On clicking this icon users will be able to read information the publisher has shared related to their organisation’s “ethics and other standards, the journalists’ backgrounds, and how they do their work.”
