[D]RAZGOVOR: DALIBOR MARTINIS / PRESENTATION OF EXHIBITION PROGRAM FOR 2017
On Tuesday, March 7 at 19:00h, HDD Gallery will organize Discussions with media artist and designer Dalibor Martinis, on the occasion of his exhibition Counterfeits, Misinformation and Frozen Images – Design by Dalibor Martinis of the ’70s and ’80s. Joining Martinis in this conversation are curators of this mini-retrospective Marko Golub and Dejan Kršić, and the short introductory part will include presentations of exhibitions that will be offered to visitors by the end of 2017 in the HDD Gallery.
In a conversation with one of the most important contemporary Croatian artists, visitors will hear more about his hitherto rarely exhibited design oeuvre that includes two full decades of work for reputable galleries, film industry, youth press and television. There will also be talk about the relationship between design, conceptual and media art, and some examples of artistic works and projects will be shown which shed a different light, or give a deeper insight into individual Martinis’ design works, his way of thinking and the topics he dealt with since the early seventies to the present day.
THE BEST OF DIGITAL GLOBAL MARKETING IN LJUBLJANA
This 8 March, in the Ljubljana Hotel Union, The Best of Digital Global Marketing seminar will be organized for the third time, which brings four international speakers from Finland, Sweden, Romania and Estonia who will present the best digital projects of last year.
The Best of Digital Global Marketing is an interactive seminar because each case study is first presented in detail, and participants discuss the factors of success of the campaign and how the resulting knowledge can be applied in the work of each of those present.
The program runs from 9:00h to 16:00h, and the participation fee is €199 + VAT.
VIKTOR JONJIĆ NEW REINFORCEMENT AT AGB NIELSEN
Since the beginning of this week, Viktor Jonjić has joined the Croatian office of AGB Nielsen at the position of Client Manager. His career path is related to media research, and in particular to the research of TV audience.
This appointment is also a confirmation of the realization of the new strategy of AGB Nielsen, made in 2016, on the development of new services and the expansion of existing ones, with special emphasis on the preparation for the new methodology of measuring TV ratings.
“In my previous professional work in the field of media buying and market research, I participated in some of the most important marketing projects in recent years in the country and this experience will be of great importance to me at the new position. My goal is to use my rich marketing experience in the new position in the AGB Nielsen, and contribute to the maintenance of high standards of service and responsibility to customers,” said Jonjić.
He began his career in 2013 at Omnicom Media Group, and before joining AGB Nielsen he has worked in the company Tvbeat as Sales Director for Southeast Europe.
SEMINAR ON DIGITAL MARKETING IN SARAJEVO
Most of the trends come to Bosnia and Herzegovina with several years of delay. The same is true for digital marketing, although day by day it is commanding an increasing share of marketing budgets.

EFFIE AWARDS SERBIA 2017 EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
The deadline for entries for the Effie Awards Serbia 2017 has been extended until 24 March. Works that are registered after this date will not be considered. According to the Regulations of the competition, eligible campaigns are those that were realized in the period 1 July 2015 – 31 December 2016. Works will be reviewed and judged by a jury of 27 professionals. Effie Awards Serbia 2017 includes the following competitive categories:
Products and services: automotive, food processing, soft drinks and beverages, alcoholic beverages, personal care and beauty products, household services, retail and electronic appliances, telecommunications, finance and payment cards, software and applications, travel and tourism, culture, arts, entertainment and institutions.
