Kovačević: Support for Bosnian Cinema Will Continue
“BH Telecom, as a producer, celebrates tonight. What Bosnian artists have achieved is certainly a major boost for our cinema and a signal that investing in culture is very important. BH Telecom has allocated 30 million KM over the last three years for the development of cinema. Without questioning the need to invest in cinema, the new management of BH Telecom assesses that the previous method of investment was not adequate. The primary role of BH Telecom is to generate profit. Our role is to make efforts to significantly improve the user experience, which will consequently increase revenue. A portion of the profit, as before, should certainly be invested in culture, and together with our founder, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are working daily to find a sustainable solution. Therefore, support will not be lacking,” said Kovačević, adding that BH Telecom will continue to finance important film and TV projects, as well as other good stories in sports, culture, and other social activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
