On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra performed the Advertissimo concert at the Sarajevo National Theatre, dedicated to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s communication industry: advertising agencies, advertisers, and media.
The soloist on the piano, Ruben Dalibatayan, delivered a performance to remember, marked by his virtuosic artistry. Even today, when I speak to someone about the concert, I mostly hear:
“An incredible concert. Ruben was something extraordinary, something rarely seen and heard.”

Maestro Ivo Lipanović, who brilliantly conducted the Sarajevo Philharmonic, shared his thoughts with Media Marketing after the concert:
“Thank you for your congratulations on our Advertissimo concert, which truly was exceptional. Ruben performed magnificently, which the orchestra felt and supported greatly, and the orchestra itself excelled in Dvořák. These are two top pieces of the musical repertoire, highly impactful, which always resonate well with the audience. I believe that in future concerts, we should always include very striking and well-known works, especially given the profile of our business audience.”

We offered Maestro Lipanović the position of artistic director and conductor of Advertissimo for the next three years, to which he responded:
“With great pleasure and gratitude, I accept the proposal to serve as the artistic director and conductor of these concerts, naturally alongside the Sarajevo Philharmonic and Vedran as my primary collaborator.”
Advertissimo is not just a concert. Advertissimo is an idea that unites the advertising industry – a concept that gives the communication industry strength, fresh energy, and the privilege of having its own concert, blending music and the creative industry in the best possible way.
Advertissimo was “born” in Sarajevo, but in a year or two, we intend to take it beyond the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, into the region – of course, together with the Sarajevo Philharmonic.
Ivo Lipanović stated:
“The idea of taking Advertissimo to other cities in the region is absolutely feasible because the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra has grown into a respectable and high-quality musical ensemble, and it is certainly ready for such endeavors.”
