At the festival of the best campaigns in the region, BalCannes, with six projects in the Top 25 list agencies operating within the I&F McCann Grupa proved to be the most successful. A jury of journalists for the first time presented the award for the best project, and it went to the campaign Lav Popcorn by McCann Belgrade.
“The award for our campaign Lav Popcorn is a recognition for innovative creativity, for playing with the media and kind of a communication experiment that we don’t see very often in everyday practice,” said Jana Savić Rastovac, creative director of McCann Belgrade, and added: “Almost everything could fit in our creative product, the bag of Lav Popcorn: direct communication with the consumer, PR communication, promotion at the point of sale, and an invitation to try the product. This is a reward for the efforts of our agencies to explore the boundaries of what is known, and to create for our clients new and bolder ways of communication.”
UM Belgrade was the only media agency whose campaign Coca-Cola Simply Tastly App was selected in the top 25 campaigns.
“Tastly campaign has achieved extraordinary results because we recognized the moments that are crucial for consumers, we understood the media, and we constantly measured and monitored performance,” said Biljana Kolaković, regional director of the agency UM, and added: “This campaign is the best example of integration of data and technology to achieve results. We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Coca-Cola with which we create successful campaigns year after year.”
In addition to these two, among the Top 25 campaigns were selected works by McCann Zagreb / Fahrenheit and McCann Skopje, all operating within the I&F McCann Grupa.
This year’s BalCannes, regional review of advertising campaigns that takes place within the framework of the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, was attended by a record 57 agencies from five countries in South East Europe.
