Our intention is to create an annual business event that will bring together a large number of women from the advertising and communications industry in the Adriatic region. We will provide lecturers from the region and the world who will share their knowledge with participants, inform them and motivate them to even greater achievements in the most exciting creative profession in the world.
Woman.Comm conference will be organized every year in late May, with the aim of providing women in the communications industry a top event in the comfortable surroundings of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.
The program of Woman.Comm conference
Media Marketing Ltd., organizer of the Woman.Comm Conference, is the publisher of three portals:
Media Marketing (www.media-marketing.com) – portal dedicated to regional advertising and communications industry
Art&Business (www.artbizmag.com) – portal dedicated to sponsorships in culture and art
Woman.Comm (www.woman.comm.marketing) – portal dedicated to women in the regional communications industry
Each of the three portals will have half a day at the Conference, which will last a day and a half.
This is the best way for us to design the program that will offer all participants very interesting content.
The first morning belongs to the portal Woman.Comm
The Conference will be opened by Janja Božič Marovt, director of the Mediana agency and moderator of the panel at which women in leadership positions in the advertising and communications industry in the region will talk about the role and place of women in our industry and about what they think of how they are represented and what their position is.
In the morning part of the program, half-hour presentations will be held by Lenja Faraguna, who is coming to the Woman.Comm conference directly from Bucharest where she will speak at the business summit Brand Minds (www.brandminds.ro), then Jana Savić Rastovac, Creative Director of McCann Belgrade, and Teodora Migdalovici, ambassador of the Cannes Lions Festivals in Romania. Teodora will present her latest publishing project, Ladies First.
Afternoon program – Art&&Business
The afternoon program on the first day of Woman.Comm Conference is dedicated to the sponsorship of the arts, and therefore belongs to the portal Art&Business.
This part of the program is created by Milena Garfield from Washington. Milena started her career at the agency New Moment, and then continued as a producer in theater and film.
She has extensive experience in the area of art sponsorship.
On behalf of the European Sponsorship Association, participants will be addressed by a board member of the ESA, who will talk about why to sponsor art and what are the benefits of such sponsorships (we are waiting for the confirmation on who will speak at the conference).
At the end of this part of the program, we will have a panel discussion which will include women from the world of art and business.
Second day – Media Marketing
The second day of the Conference belongs to portal Media Marketing.
Speaking in this part of the Conference will be Ivan Stanković, President of Communis, and Zenel Batagelj and Kristijan Gregorić from the Valicon agency. We are expecting confirmation of participation of a guest from the United States who will talk about digital advertising.
This part of the program will be completed with a panel discussion that will include women who lead marketing efforts of large regional companies.
We are expecting confirmation of five more speakers, which would complete the list of speakers at the Woman.Comm conference.
