The international PRO.PR conference, organised by Apriori World Zagreb Agency, will be held between the 11th and 14th of April, 2018 in hotel Mona on Zlatibor (Serbia). The event comes from an idea of bringing together eminent PR experts to explore the newest trends, the specifics and the differences in the communication market, the innovations and expertise in the profession and exchange of ideas and experiences.
Over the three days the participants will be able to attend 16 lectures and two panel discussions where respected regional and international communication experts will be showcasing their knowledge and expertise.
Maja Jovanovic, Novak Đokovic Foundation Project Leader, will give the opening lecture, followed by Toni Tomasek of of Slovenian branch of Publicis One. Francis Ingham, a respected British expert and general director of PRCA and executive director of ICCO will talk about the transformation of PR and Olga Podoinitsyina, the board member of Russian VTB group will give a lecture on corporate authenticity.
For the first time, the 16th PRO PR conference will give the floor to a speaker from Africa, Robyn De Villiers, the president of Burson-Marsteiller of South Africa, who will give a talk on changes and trends in communications within the African continent.
Carlos Diaz, a director of one of the largest South American agencies for analysis and media monitoring, will talk about practical examples in Argentina and Sean Gardener will share his experiences in digital communications within the USA.
Two lectures will be dedicated to communications and PR on TV. Igor Cutuk, the PR director and spokesperson of Hrvatska Radiotelevizija will give lecture on communications transformation on Croatian national TV. Sabrina Povsic Stimec, the deputy director of communications of Radio-televizija Slovenia and Joseph Hoban, the communications director of Irish Radio and TV will talk about the importance of public media services and the results of the campaign led last year by 10 European national TV stations.
Nina Redzepagic, the head of Montenegrin PR agency OR will give practical examples of internal communications; Marija Beslac, Nordeus communications manager and Natasa Jovanovic of UniCredit Bank Serbia will present a model of implementation of the Smart Working concept within the bank’s head office.
Biagio Carrano, the respected Italian communication expert who lives in Belgrade, will talk about the branding of a state using media. Communications and Marketing Manager, Sophie Brendal, of Victoria and Albert Museum, London will present practical examples of PR experiences in culture. Fiona Czerniawaska, the manager of Source Global Research will present the global research results and the new trends and directions in communications. The respected Serbian communications expert and the owner of Represent Communications, Borislav Miljanovic will discuss PR agency digitalization.
Two panel discussions will be held again this year: one on radio journalism and PR, moderated by BBC’s Corporate Communications Manager, John Shield who will be joined in the discussion by the editors and directors from leading South European radio stations; the other panel will discuss PR agencies and will be moderated by Marjan Novak, the editor in chief of Marketing Magazin and regional PR agencies managers will contribute. The organisers of the 16the PRO PR conference expect more than 200 communication experts from the region to attend. This is the third time that PRO PR conference was held in Serbia. After Belgrade and Subotica the conference will be held in the beautiful ambience of Zlatibor, the attendees will have the opportunity on going on two excursions to discover the beauty of the area.
The PRO PR Awards Ceremony will also be held at the conference.
