MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN, the largest business gathering of Croatian company employees, will be held for the fourth consecutive year in the four largest Croatian cities. MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN starts in Split on 10 May, followed by competitions in Rijeka and Osijek (24 May and 14 June), while the final and largest gathering is planned in Zagreb on 13 September.
It is expected that this active socializing this year will bring together more than 8,000 participants. MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN is intended for employees of all business institutions registered in Croatia, and last year there were 6,500 employees from more than 400 private and public companies included. This confirmed the status of this event as the largest gathering of employees in Croatia, and two more records have been broken. This is a competition that has prompted the largest number of new entrants to come to the start line, and for every third contestant this was the first appearance in some race. In addition, last year’s race in Zagreb broke the Croatian record in number of runners who gathered in a race in a single discipline, with more than 4,500 people joining a single race.
“Business culture today is considered a competitive advantage. In Southeast Europe even more than in the West, which is also confirmed by the great response of Croatian companies to MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN, which is recognized as one of the tools for business culture improvement that enhances mutual communication and a sense of satisfaction,” said Dijana Vetturelli, initiator of MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN.
Partner of this year’s event is again Hrvatski Telekom, whose HR rep Marija Felkel said: “Hrvatski Telekom continuously invests in the development of its employees. The research we conducted last year shows that MAGENTA 1 B2B RUN is the ideal combination of teamwork and informal socializing that has contributed to a better corporate culture and intensifying interpersonal relationships. It is precisely this fellowship among HT employees that has resulted in the title of the most-fit company on most of the previous races.”
The Ambassador of the Race and the Captain of HT Running Team Bojan Mušćet commented on the previous editions of this popular business event: “Last year, over six thousand people ran with us, including more than seven hundred colleagues from HT. I’m glad HT has an exceptionally strong team that attracts more and more competitors. In three years, the number of HT runners has tripled. This year, there will be even more, and I’m happy because we have succeeded in encouraging people in the business community to get active and start developing healthy habits. Business needs running shoes, so let’s put them on and run!”
