Ovation BBDO has won a slew of awards at this year’s UEPS Awards, including the prestigious title of the Agency of the Year, the Grand Prix and whopping five gold awards for the “sweetest” campaign in 2018, Munchmallow – A Story in Itself! In five other categories the agency has won silver and bronze awards.
Great success at the UEPS festival is another confirmation that Munchmallow is truly a story in its own right. From the sweetest billboard in the city, through the award for the Best Regional Project at the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, the two awards and the Grand Prix at Kaktus Festival, all the way to five golds and the Grand Prix at UEPS! Having listed all that, Ovation BBDO can rightfully call this campaign the “sweetest of the year”. It won gold awards in the categories: Integrated Campaign – Food, Creative Efficiency, TV Spot, OOH Campaign and Creative Use of Media.
But Munchmallow was not the only brand that brought UEPS awards to Ovation BBDO this year. The campaign for Frikom’s frozen vegetables, with Branka Katić in the main role, brought them silver in the category of Integrated Campaign – Food.
In the category that rewards the best packaging and industrial design, Silver went to the Booster brand. In the category of Integrated Campaign – Drink, Silver went to campaign for Nectar, which also won bronze in the category of Online Marketing Campaigns. In the category dedicated to the best integrated campaigns in the fields of health, beauty, fashion and sport, this year silver went to the brand Galenika.
In addition to the awards for campaigns, a special prize went to Ovation BBDO giving them even more boasting rights. In the Art & Craft category that rewards the best art director, the title of the best went to the agency’s designer Milan Petrović. Milan has been with Ovation BBDO for 2.5 years and has participated in many of the most important agency projects, including the lauded Munchmallow campaign.
“We are proud he is with us, and we believe this award was more than deserved,” the agency said.
