On Thursday, June 14, from 09:00 to 10:15hrs, at the Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship NLB, the Slovenian Advertising Chamber will organize its regular event Good Morning Advertisers, which can only be attended by members of the Chamber without any fees.
The latest study Mind Wide Open (MWO), which the consulting firm Indigo implemented in cooperation with the Slovenian Marketing Association for the fourth consecutive year, has identified several interesting challenges for marketing directors and leading people in companies in general:
- Disruptions in certain markets have already started to seriously undermine existing business models. They require increasingly rapid and advanced responses, whereby partnerships with companies within and outside marketing industry can be of great help.
- It’s interesting that companies first and foremost see their partners among startups and suppliers within the value chain, while marketing agencies are still less perceived as a long-term partner. There is prevailing collaboration on project level, while the global trends are quite different.
- Most businesses believe that they can tackle the challenges alone, although that businesses that create partnerships have a faster and better responses to disruptions through inclusion of their partners in the decision making process in the field of innovation and other market activities.
- Digital transformation first and foremost concerns three areas in every business: processes, user experience, and development of new business models/products and everything related to them.
The entire event will take place in the form of discussion between Sašo Dimitrievski, partner and board member at Pristop Group and his guests: Ranko Jelač, board member in Telekom Slovenije and Roko Vodnik, board member at Petrol.
The discussion will focus on the following issues:
- Two companies, two leading managers, two board members, two men for development by the soul, one digital transformation and many challenges. Do we really know what that means?
- How is everyone facing digital transformation in their own field?
- Which internal and external challenges are you facing?
- How do you perceive outside partners – especially agencies and consultants?
- What really bothers them?
- What can we learn?
