Dr. Nenad Filipović is a lecturer, MBA Project Manager and Academic Director of IEDC -Bled School of Management, one of the leading international institutions of its kind in Europe and one of the most prestigious business schools in the world, and this year’s exclusive digital education partner of the Digital Takeover conference.
At the upcoming conference, Dr. Filipović will hold a lecture on “The Myths of Digital Transformation”, in which he will reflect on the widespread stereotypes about the changes that digital technology brings to business and will show what lies behind them.
He will illustrate the key dilemmas facing business management in our region and the challenges of transferring world experiences to our environment. In his presentation, he will ask the key questions that we need to answer if we want to use digital technology in our company to gain competitive advantage.
At the IEDC – Bled School of Management, he leads the Business Management and Business Ethics courses, and is also a lecturer on the Digital Transformation Program which provides tools and knowledge for successful management of the transformation process. As part of the program, Filipović also leads the Leading Disruptive Change seminar, which reveals how to mobilize the entire organization and achieve a successful transformation.
Filipović is also very well versed in the economic situation in the region but also in the world and, besides being the creator and co-creator of numerous IEDC – Bled School of Management education programs, has coordinated more than 200 consultancy projects and has provided consulting services to numerous international companies.
He was also a personal mentor of more than 40 executive directors in Central Europe, and the author or co-author of seven books and more than thirty case studies. He is a lecturer at numerous business schools in Europe and North America and has been educated at some of the world’s top universities.
He graduated from the Zagreb FER in Computer Science, got his Ph.D. at the Free University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University and the Central and East European Teachers Program at Harvard Business School within Stanford University.
