For the second time, regional digital conference Digital Takeover will bring together leading digital experts who will pass on their rich experiences and knowledge to the participants. Visitors can expect a rich 10-hour program in six halls of the Zagreb Cinestar, nine lecturers, 16 panelists and three panels, as well as presentations and film projections.
“In 2018 Digital Takeover continues its mission of educating the market on digital transformation. This year the program is richer, we bring famous world names proven in the field of digital transformation, domestic experts as well as representatives of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. They will talk about the importance of digital investment, bring us examples from the global market, analyze the challenges we face regardless of the industry we come from, and will bring concrete solutions and tips to create a sustainable digital culture,” said Ante Franotović, Marketing Director of 24sata.
One of the speakers coming to the conference is Stephen Attenborough, the commercial director of Virgin Galactic, part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. A lecture will also be held by Peter Corbett, founder of the digital agency iStrategyLabs and owner of 20 Cannes Lions. Daniel Newman, chief analyst at Futurum Reasearch, CEO of Broadsuite Media, author of six bestsellers on Amazon and a Forbes Associate, is also coming to Digital Takeover to uncover the secrets of digital transformation of the world’s most prestigious companies. Davor Tomašković, President of the Management Board and CEO of Croatian Telecom, will also attend the conference and will take its participants through the great potential that technology has in transforming our lives.
“This year the conference is supported by 24sata network brands – 24sata, miss7, Express and Joomboos, which will host professionals from various areas in their halls. 24sata will host the keynote speakers who will share their global practices and experience. The women’s lifestyle portal miss7 will host Natalia Wiechowski, multi-award-winning marketing and personal branding specialist from Dubai who will share a successful formula for creating attractive content. Another panel that is sure to attract great attention will be hosted in the Express hall, called the Digitalization of Croatia: truth or myth? which will include: Bernard Gršić, Ivan Čulo, Davor Bruketa, Senad Kulenović and Željko Ivanković, and will be moderated by Nikola Vrdoljak. There is also Kenneth Stevens, Chief Technology Advisor and Head of Digital Enterprise Platform division for the SAP EMEA region, and in his lecture he will discuss the main tools that companies need to explore and exploit, in order to make their business more intelligent. JoomBoos will host an interesting panel on the hot topic of influencer marketing, where it will gather the most influential Croatian influencers. At the Digital Takeover we will also host Marko Zorić, editor of the BBC News YouTube channel, who will present us an insight into the digital transformation and its role in newsrooms and brands, on the BBC’s own examples and their investment in digital video. Aside from the truly rich program at the conference itself, as a media house we are privileged to be able to give the relevant space to this topic throughout the year. Before the conference, we had a series of interviews and articles in which domestic and foreign experts spoke on the subject of digital transformation.
