Honoring 100 years since the birth of the Bauhaus school of art, digital design community gathered around the 99designs platform gave a Bauhaus makeover to some of the world’s most iconic brands.
Apple, Starbucks, Netflix, Ferrari, Google and others were undoubtedly given a captivating and impressive look in this project, which was joined by designers from across the globe.
The Bauhaus art school was founded by Walter Gropious in 1919, and had laid the foundation for 20th- and 21st-century aesthetics in its short 14-year lifespan, before it was shut down in 1933 by the Nazis.
The style inspired designers for decades to come, and the works you can see below are just another example of how potent the style is even today in creating striking visual messages.
