Apple has been a talking point for many at the CES in Las Vegas, but it isn’t even partaking in this huge tech event.
Apart from many participants comparing a lot of the products presented at the event with Apple’s products, there is another reason why Apple is very visible in Las Vegas – namely, a huge billboard that spans the entire side of one Las Vegas hotel.
“What happens on your iPhone stays on your iPhone,” reads the billboard, playing with the famous tagline of this city, but also making a swing at the tech giant’s competitors like Google, Amazon and Facebook, all of which have been involved in privacy scandals in the year behind us.
The bottom of the billboard directs passersby to Apple’s privacy info site, where the brand asserts “we believe privacy is a fundamental human right” and then details the various ways it goes about protecting user data.
