RIJEKA 2020 IS LOOKING FOR LECTURERS FOR CULTURE BRANDING CONFERENCE
RIJEKA 2020 – European Capital of Culture this year organizes the Culture Branding Conference, to be held from February 28 to March 2, and is looking for lecturers. Association HURA! invited all its members to apply as lecturers or submit their proposals of potential candidates. The RIJEKA 2020 organization will cover lecturers’ fees, travel and accommodation.
Some of the already confirmed lecturers are: Erik Kessels (designer, artist, curator and co-owner of the KesselsKramer agency), Miguel Rivas (partner in the TASO group, specializing in branding cities), Kai Amberla (director of the Finland Festivals, dance, literary and visual cultural programs organization), Boris Ljubičić (designer) and MUZE (organization for cultural tourism and management).

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT FORUM 2019
The third edition of the conference, organized by Edward Bernays University College, is dedicated to topics such as communication, tourism, culture and national brand, and will be held on May 10 and 11, 2019.
Within the Communication Management Forum 2019, which will be held under the name Finding a Common Denominator: Communication, Tourism, National Culture and Brand, will try to answer the question to what extent is communication really a key factor in establishing a national BRAND, how to use your own strengths to strengthen the image of the state and to promote it in the world.
DIGITAL DESIGN DAYS 2019 IN GENEVA ENDS LAST NIGHT
Digital Design Days Festival this year went global, starting its tour in Geneva from 11 to 13 February.
The festival that started in Milan in 2016, and boasts +5500 attendees from 63 countries, brings together the world’s most progressive digital companies with influential decision makers from international business. It’s an opportunity to be inspired, share and learn how digital design can help companies grow, support innovation and elevate communication.

FINAL DEADLINE FOR ADC ANNUAL AWARDS: FEBRUARY 15
The One Club For Creativity has issued a “friendly reminder” to creatives, designers, marketers, agencies, publishers and so on, that this Friday, February 15 is the final deadline to complete your ADC Annual Awards entries.
It is also the last day for all physical materials to arrive in their New York office. In the meantime, the first rounds of judging are set to begin.
This year is the 98th edition of ADC Annual Awards, the oldest continuously running industry award show. These Awards celebrate the very best in advertising, digital media, graphic and publication design, packaging and product design, motion, experiential and spatial design, photography, illustration and fashion design all with a focus on artistry and craftsmanship, giving them the coveted ADC Cubes.
