CROATIA EFFIE 2019 ENTRIES OPEN
Entries for the Croatia Effie 2019 were opened this Saturday, December 15, marking this as the tenth year of Effie contest in Croatia.
In an effort to improve the competition and its quality each year, this year the entries will be done exclusively through official software. This is a new, proven and above all functional Effie Worldwide system that will greatly facilitate the application process in accordance with world-wide practices. HURA invites all applicants to carefully study the rule book and timely prepare their entries. This year, the novelty is that an additional third deadline has been introduced, which means there will be no extension of the deadline, which will eventually be closed on February 21, 2019.
Deadlines are as follows:
- Early bird deadline January 16 – 28
- Regular deadline January 29 – February 9
- Late deadline February 10 – 21.
This year’s jury will be expanded to include more experienced members, and following the last year’s practice, entrants will be able to request descriptive comments and feedback to improve future entries.
Advertisers point out Croatia Effie as the industry’s most important prize, ranking it even above Cannes (Ipsos research, 2016), and Effie is well-known for its famous slogan “Ideas That Work”.
It is important to note that projects that competed in the category of Long-term Efficiency last year cannot enter this year.
More information on entries can be found at www.effie.hr.
